Our boat the Northwestern is perfect for one or two families to enjoy an exclusive family fun day. The cruise is designed for all to enjoy taking in the wonderful Abel Tasman sights and sounds, watching the wildlife and visiting the seal colonies.

The trip starts with a close encounter to the world famous Split Apple Rock where your skipper Jim will explain the history of this magnificent outcrop. Then a trip to meet the seals of Pinacle Island where you will feel the exhilaration of the wind in your hair as we travel at cruising speed.

The boat has several educational books and activities to occupy the children’s thirst for knowledge. If you choose a full day charter we can arrange a treasure hunt for the younger children on one of the beaches, while the adults enjoy their lunch and wine. Included in your day are options to collect muscles for supper, try your hand at fishing, snorkel in the azure waters or the thrill of a biscuit ride plus much more.

Plus Kayaks on request. Lunch can be included or a BYO option is available with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee.

Departing Motueka, your day consists of a combination of a one hour scenic flight out to Whanganui Inlet on the rugged West Coast, taking in Farewell Spit and Golden Bay before landing in the heart of the Abel Tasman National Park at Awaroa Bay for lunch and a glass or two of our award winning Neudorf wine or juice.

Here you will be met by your Sea Limousines crew on board your exclusive boat the Northwestern. Take a comfortable 3.5 hour scenic cruise amongst wild life and the beautiful waterways, beaches and bays of the Abel Tasman National Park. The experieince finishes at the famous Kaiteriteri Beach Front. The order may be reversed depending on the days availability.

This combination gives you a panaramic view of the top of the South in one day and is ideal for those on a tight scedual.

Sea Limousines also operates a 12 seater Mercedes Benz MB140 minicoach to return you to Motueka or, to go on to visit the local Vineyard with the option of a personally arranged wine tour at the well known Neudorf vineyard or another of your choice. (We are open to taking you to any choice of tourist attraction in the Nelson area.)

Option one: Fixed wing flight and cruise: You can be collected from your accommodation and taken to the Motueka air field or make your own way there. You experience consists of a combination of a one hour fixed wing scenic flight out to Whanganui Inlet on the rugged West Coast, taking in Farewell Spit and Golden Bay before landing in the heart of the Abel Tasman National Park at Awaroa Bay

Here you will be met by your Sea Limousines crew on board your exclusive boat the Northwestern. Take a comfortable 3.5 hour scenic cruise amongst wild life and the beautiful waterways, beaches and bays of the Abel Tasman National Park. At a choice of one of the stunning beaches you can enjoy a beautifully crafted lunch and a glass or two of our award winning local wine or juice.

On the way home you can take advantage of a photo opportunity at the famous Split Apple Rock, the experience concludes at Kaiteriteri Beach Front where you will either be transferred back to your car or accommodation. (The order may be reversed depending on the days availability.)
